Managing Director & Registered Manager
Jenny is the Registered Manager and one of the Directors here at Kentish Homecare, she came to Kentish from a background in both hospital and community Nursing. Jenny worked for many years within the NHS as a Registered Nurse, District Nurse and Nurse Practitioner. She is involved in every aspect of the business from overseeing recruitment and training, to monitoring the standards of care within the agency and meeting every current and prospective new client. It is important for Jenny to meet all of our clients so that she has an understanding of what support they may need from us and also, so she has a good understanding of their situation and what they want to achieve. Jenny is married to Colin, a fellow Director and the Finance Manager for Kentish, they have two boys of 20 and 17yrs old respectively and a beautiful Golden Retriever, Lexi who greets Jenny with a wagging tail when she gets home at night.
Along with his wife Jenny, Colin is a joint Director of Kentish Homecare with specific responsibilities for the finance side of Kentish Homecare. Colin is also the nominated ‘Responsible Person’ as required by our regulators, The Care Quality Commission. Colin has a background of over 40 years’ experience working in Corporate Banking in the City of London.
Colin has a real passion for music and sport so when not working tries to make music whilst at the same time keeping track of the latest football and cricket results.
Quality Assurance & Finance Manager
Chelsie has been with Kentish for ten years working her way up from office junior to Quality Assurance & Finance Manager, she now mainly deals with payroll, client invoicing and quality assurance. When Chelsie is not at work she enjoys spending quality time with her family and cooking.
Hanife has been a Senior Care Co-ordinator at Kentish Homecare since 2014 and is now appointed as the Deputy Manager. She has five years care experience and has completed her BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care Level’s 1, 2 and 3. She has also completed a degree at Plymouth University and has been awarded a BSc Hons in Business management. At Kentish, Hanife liaise closely with our clients and staffs to ensure all of our visits are managed successfully, she is in charge of staff meetings and also completes all of the carer’s supervisions, appraisals and care certificates. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family, Hanife puts us all to shame with her amazing language skill she is fluent in three languages - English, Kosovan and German.
Alison deals with the coordination of care staff visits, staff training, referencing, marketing and social media. As part of her role she creates the monthly newsletters and updates all of Kentish’s social media. Prior to joining Kentish in 2018, Alison worked as a Recruitment Consultant for Bank Partners where her role involved hiring bank staff for the NHS including hospitals UCLH and Barts. Alison has also worked as PA to the heads of the HR departments at the DWP and Department for Transport as well as several banks and law firms. Alison lived in Los Angeles for four years from 2008 and has a degree in Screenwriting. She loves dining at restaurants, watching films and traveling to see her friends and family in America.
Eva is a Care Co-ordinator with five years care experience. She has completed her BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care Level’s 2 and 3 which included such areas as dealing with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health. Eva enjoys shopping, watching TV and spending time with her family.
